The week gone by: OTDs galore

This has been a relatively hectic week (again), starting with a Sunday night beach wedding to attend. The dress code was “beach wear/casual”, and it was really tough to decide what to wear since I am always used to dolling up for wedding dinners. I left the decision of what to wear to a couple of hours before the wedding, because I knew I had a couple of dresses which i could wear to the wedding. The final decision rested on what I felt like wearing!

So in the end, I decided to wear…

OTD: Glamourous Beach/Resort Wear
Outfit: TailoredLove’s (TL) Lipsy-inspired Elegant Split-Sleeve Frock in Vintage Yellow

Really love the unique split sleeve design on this dress that Juin and I decided to manufacture! Felt very princess-y. With braided hair tied to the side, my sister actually commented I looked a little like 小龙女!
Had a good time during the wedding. Congrats to the bride and groom (who are now honeymooning in a lovely villa in Bali! *jealous*)

Tuesday, I had a little dinner date with my SO in the evening at somewhere near! Decided to wear one of my absolute favorite recent buys!

OTD: Dressed for a simple dinner
Top: TVD Chiffon Keyhole Top (Cobalt Blue) with TVD Zara Inspired Cardigan (Black)
Bottom: F21 Shorts

Love the top. It felt a tad big though, and sometimes I had to be cautious of whether I was exposing myself, but i really love the cobalt blue colour and the cut of the top. I feel it makes me look slimmer by covering the right places. What I love most about this top, is that you can just put it on and pair it with any pair of shorts and still look decent (not sloppy)!

Juin and I went for a sourcing trip on Monday for TailoredLove. We’re preparing to launch a new collection soon! I was looking out for a skater dress since it’s like one of the hottest trends now. Both plain, as well as something that’s good for work. We were so happy to see this piece at the suppliers! It’s a swing dress that has an awesome skater cut. Not only that, the material is the textured kind. Quite stretchy and hugs at the right places. I wear S size for this dress. The S size fits snugly on me (+ it looks better snug than loose). Since I had to dress a little more formally on Wednesday, I decided to wear this piece out! Paired it with black heels. <3

OTD: Work!
Outfit: (Unreleased) TL Swing Skater Dress
note: my piece is forest green-blue, but the stock pieces are forest-green-black

Here are more shots of the dress, and the lovely v back design, as well as the invisible back zip! Probably launching next Thursday if we can get the photos done! Definitely at affordable prices, I promise!

Could dress more casually on Thursday, so decided to wear some of my “definitely-must-keep-for-long-term” online buys!

OTD (Thursday):
Top: AE Waterfall Top (White) with TVD Zara Inspired Cardigan
Bottom: LRH Lampshade Skirt (Brick)

Alright, so that’s Sunday – Thursday’s OTD, and i’m gonna leave today’s OTD and happenings to the next post, because i’m gonna blog about my visit to H&M!
